Ferguson closes 2024 Lucas Dirt season with 12th-place finish in Dirt Track World Championship
Finishing out the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season, Carson Ferguson made it to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Friday evening with the Paylor Motorsports team for the $100,000-to-win Dirt Track World Championship.
Ferguson laid down a quick lap time in qualifying before he raced to a runner-up finish in his heat race behind Ricky Thornton Jr. Starting on the fifth-row of Saturday's $100,000-to-win finale, Ferguson finished just outside the Top-10 in 12th.
Ferguson wound up 16th in the final LOLMDS point standings.
