Ferguson fourth in Doug Walls Memorial at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
Competing in a lone event over Easter weekend, Carson Ferguson drove a Derek Dent-owned No. 18 in the $10,000-to-win Doug Walls Memorial with the Mid-East Super Late Model Series at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.).
Laying down the quickest lap in his qualifying group, Ferguson earned the pole for the main event after leading flag-to-flag in his heat race. In the 48-lap feature, Carson faded early to sixth but rallied to finish inside the Top-5 in fourth. He trailed Daulton Wilson, Ben Watkins, and Casey Roberts while Benji Hicks completed the Top-5.
