Carson Ferguson picks up win at Golden Isles Speedway to open 2024 season

Carson Ferguson quietly kicked off his 2024 season at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Thursday afternoon for the Super Bowl of Racing.

After qualifying for Thursday's event, heavy rain showers moved into the area which postponed Thursday's feature to Saturday and cancelled Friday's show all together. Returning to the track on Saturday, Ferguson competed in both the 602 and 604 divisions where he would record fifth and 11th-place finishes respectively.

For Thursday's make-up feature, Carson started on the front-row and ran second when the checkered flag flew. After the apparent winner failed post-race technical inspection, Ferguson was awarded the victory and the $1,500 payday.
